The Save County Fund
The Cook County health system has been in fiscal and administrative crisis for the past two years.

To confront this complex reality Health and Medicine has played a leadership role in the effort to save and strengthen the Cook County Bureau of Health Services - working on governance, finance models and transition recommendations; developing curricula for ongoing advocacy training; designing and maintaining savecounty.org, a website for the Emergency Network to Save Cook County Health Services, and building and staffing the coalitions and partnerships vital to establishing a much needed Regional Healthcare Safety Net.

To succeed, we've created The Save County Fund, a special designated fund to help us respond quickly and mobilize to resolve this crisis.

Your donation will help ensure that our work can continue with the intensity and integrity this issue demands.

Thank you for your commitment to a strong public health system and for your continued support.
